The inbox is the tool used by German Customs to contact you directly. German Customs uses this tool, for example, to inform you about changes to applications, to answer questions about applications or to change data in your Customs Portal account. You will also be provided with the links you need for electronic notification retrieval.

Inbox messages are deleted after 90 days. If you have problems with inbox messages, please contact customs: Contact.

You can also use the search function to search for the subjects you wish to look up. You will find further selection filters under the + symbol in the "Advanced search settings" line. Here you can filter by period and sender.
