Basic structure of the Customs Portal
The Customs Portal is divided into three parts: the navigation area, content area, and a footer.
In the navigation area, you can choose between the functions: Language Selection, German Sign Language, “Leichte Sprache” [easy-to-understand German], Help and Navigation Menu. If you have selected "English" as the language, the options "German Sign Language" and "Leichte Sprache" will not be shown. The navigation area is always visible.
The content area is the actual core of the Customs Portal. After you have made your selection from the navigation menu, the functions of the Customs Portal are displayed here (e.g. the application to change the SEPA direct debit mandate for motor vehicle tax or your inbox).
The footer contains further links to topics that may be of interest to you. In addition to the legal notice and the accessibility declaration, you will also find links to further information on www.zoll.de about the services offered (e.g. binding tariff information or motor vehicle tax).
